Hermanus
is famous for southern right whale watching during the southern winter and spring. The whales can be seen from the cliffs in the town centre as early as June and usually depart in early December.
Knysna
is one of the most popular destination on the Garden Route. The forest, rivers, estuary, and ocean surrounding the town are dotted with hiking trails and plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities. The estuary opens to the ocean after passing between two large headlands, popularly known as “The Heads”. Tourists can enjoy this special scenery by sightseeing boats.

DAY 1
CAPE TOWN - HERMANUS - CAPE AGULHAS - MOSSEL BAY
After finish breakfast at hotel, head to Hermanus, a town on the sothern coast of the Western Cape province of South Africa, is and famous for whale watching, since more than 9 kinds of whales will swim across the South African coastline. What’s more, as one of the places with highest plant diversity levels in the world, this traditional European-styled town by the sea will definitely leave you an unforgettable experience.
Then head to Cape Agulhas. Situated at the southernmost tip of the African continent, Cape Agulhas is also defined as the boundary between Indian Ocean and Atlantic Ocean.
Then go to Mossel Bay, visit Dias Maritime Museum, built in memory of the great voyager Bartolomeu Dias who found Southern Africa. Then visit Shell Museum and Post Office Tree.

The Maritime Museum has exhibition displays which narrate about the history of early European sea voyagers who discovered sea routes. The local history 19th-century artifacts and 20th-century photographs are also displayed in this building. The building houses a life-size replica of the ship that was used by Bartolomeu Dias and his crew when they landed in Mossel Bay 1488.
In 1500 a sailor left a letter in a shoe, tucked in the tree. In 1501 this letter was found by Joao da Nova, who was en route to India. In this way the first post office in South Africa was founded. A special frank is used on all outgoing mail to commemorate the fact that South Africa’s first post office was this tree. The reason for the boot-shaped letterbox is that it is presumed that the first letters were left at this old tree from the 1500’s in a sailor’s boot.

DAY 2
MOSSEL BAY - OUDTSHOORN - KNYSNA
Head to the inner-land small town Oudtshoorn, also known as the “ostrich capital of the world”, to visit the Safari Ostrich Farm.
Head to Knysna, enjoy the amazing scenery of the well-known Heads.
Enjoy the beautiful landscape of Knysna by visit Knysna Lagoon on sightseeing boats.
Highlights: At the Safari Ostrich Farm, tourists will not only get to know ostrich-relevant knowledge, but also have a chance to catch the massive gathering of these giant birds and make intimate contacts with them.

DAY 3
KNYSNA - TSITSIKAMMA - PORT ELIZABETH
Head to Tsitsikamma National Park – the only national park situated by the coastline in South Africa. As a part of the Garden Route National Park, Tsitsikamma section boasts more than 100km coastline, offers unspoiled stretching beaches, beautiful forests, reefs, rivers and all kinds of indigenous fynbos. Visit Storm River and Bloukrans Bridge.

The 216-metre Bloukrans Bridge is the highest commercial bungee jump from a bridge in the world and attracts adventure-seekers from all over the globe. The bridge is found along the scenic Garden Route and has to count as one of the most spectacular bungee jumps in the world. Then head to the local airport.
